OUR SOURCING: Our lactose and casein-free ghee starts as cream from 100% co-operatively/family owned Canadian Dairy farms, which is processed into butter by family owned creameries, supporting the local dairy community.
CERTIFIED 100% CANADIAN DAIRY: The butter for OG GHEE is made from Hormone free, Antibiotic free, healthy cows that are grass-fed, or forage-fed depending on the season.
NO IMPORTED BUTTER: We choose to NOT use New Zealand grass-fed butter as the environmental impact of transporting refrigerated butter 10,000km+ is against our core philosophy.
NO FUNNY BUSINESS: Our ghee is made the traditional, slow-cooked way, not with industrial centrifuges unlike many desi ghee brands.
CARAMELIZED TASTE: Traditionally made ghee should have a brown-buttery taste profile, with nuttiness. OG GHEE is caramelized correctly to bring maximum flavour to your recipes.
VERSATILE: Our ghee is spreadable at room temperature, and can be used to roast, bake, fry and sear. It is shelf stable and requires no refrigeration.
FLAVOUR BOOST: Replace your avocado oil, olive oil, butter, coconut oil or other cooking oil 1:1 with ghee in your recipes.
